Ledgent Finance and Accounting has a manufacturing partner located near the Eagan area needing to add to their Accounting team!

Key Responsibilities
- Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding and approvals
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents (3-way match)
- Prepare and process weekly or monthly payment runs (ACH, wire, check)
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate and complete accounts payable records and documentation
- Respond to vendor inquiries and work collaboratively to resolve issues
- Assist with month-end close, including account reconciliations and accruals
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls
- Support audits by providing required documentation and reports
- Perform other accounting or administrative duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
