Job Description

Ledgent Finance and Accounting has a manufacturing partner located near the Eagan area needing to add to their Accounting team!

  • Pay: $27-$29/hr
  • Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding and approvals
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents (3-way match)
  • Prepare and process weekly or monthly payment runs (ACH, wire, check)
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate and complete accounts payable records and documentation
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and work collaboratively to resolve issues
  • Assist with month-end close, including account reconciliations and accruals
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls
  • Support audits by providing required documentation and reports
  • Perform other accounting or administrative duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • 2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Experience with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
